Eton, Buckinghamshire: Counterpart lease of the rectory to Stephen Hawtrey

Counterpart lease of the Rectory of Eton from the Provost and College to Stephen Hawtrey of Crane Court, Fleet Street, London, gentleman; north part of the College barn adjacent to the College stables, with access. Excepting lands reserved to their own use, viz. the Playing Fields, the Shooting Fields, the Long Mead, Timber Hall, the Hopyard, Brock House, Parson's Bush and Innings Mead with the gardens and dovehouse. Also excepted are the burials of the Provosts and Fellows in the Church and Choir of Eton, and the houses, gardens or orchards with all tithes on them in the occupation of Fellows. For 10 years from last Annunciation, if Hawtrey continues Register of the College, at 4 loads of hay each weighing 1800 lbs, 29 quarters and 2 bushels of malt, 4 bushels of wheat, seven loads of wheat straw or money equivalent. Herbage of churchyard to remain at College's disposal. Hawtrey responsible for all payments except pension of Archdeacon of Buckingham and Duply money.
