1. Provost Roger Lupton and the College of Eton by Windsor 2. Abbot John Thorne and the Abbey of the Virgin Mary, Reading.
Henry VII by his letters patent granted the College of Eton the right to acquire lands, tenements, services etc to the value of £27 p.a. notwithstanding the statute of mortmain. The College agrees to pay customary rents etc due for lands so acquired which belong to the Abbey of Reading, and to pay the Abbey 13s 4d on the death of the Provost.
