Has decided to retain his house in the Windsor Cloisters because although Mr Digby's dining room and drawing room are preferable the study is not; lists other movements of canons including Dr Keate. Robert Battiscombe's resignation [from King's College] has arrived. Blomberg 'not indisposed' to assist Ashfield. Mr Hooper should write to the Bishop of Lincoln enquiring when he will be licensed to the curacy [probably John Hooper, m. Frances Goodall, daughter of William]. Many marriages: Mr Arnold, a private tutor, also the Provost's old scholar Robert Bullock-Marsham, Warden of Merton, Robert Battiscombe and Captain Northey to Sir George Anson's daughter.
