Has been to exhibition, Society of Artists and watercolours. Coins and medals. Drawing room being whitewashed and painted. Eton Anniversary will be badly attended; took his leave of so fatiguing an amusement in 1837. Describes political cartoon. Forced to turn back from visit to the Bank by Democrats for a demonstration.
