Party just finished included Lord and Lady Braybrooke and their children, some actual or future Etonians. Queen Victoria will not drive to see the supper [at Boveney] but it is hoped she will come to the Return and the fireworks, and she is coming the following day. Prince Edward of Saxe Weimar will probably be one of the party. Model of the Chapel will be in the Drawing Room. Dr Hawtrey will introduce Lord Lyttelton to the Duke of Newcastle to receive his medal. (5th) Sat between Queen Victoria and the Duchess of Kent. Loyal cheers from the boys. Party has returned [from procession] dreadfully squeezed; aristocratic company less numerous than usual. PLACE: [Eton]
