Has lately purchased a fine copy of Lawrence's portrait of Marquess Wellesley which he would like to present to Eton College if he could be sure of it being placed in the Library or some other conspicuous place. Would also like to give other articles belonging to him which he has purchased, viz last Garter ribbon he wore, George and Star, gold pencil case, seals etc. No desire that his name should appear as donor. Asks him to contact the Provost.
