Content description
Acknowledges circular. A matter of regret that the church has not taken root effectively in the colonies, especially as it appears to have prospered in the United States where it is beyond the reach of its parent. Both at home and abroad the endowment of ministers is urgently required; we build more churches than we can hope to man. If there are means for the educated there will be provision for education. But if this proves too costly cannot the new establishment at Marlborough be extended or smaller university colleges be used. A new building would be expensive. Important that ministers for home and abroad should come from same source.
