Content description
Provost has shown him a letter from the Warden of Winchester stating that Winchester boys will no longer play cricket with other public schools at Lord's, leaving only Eton and Harrow. The evil is no less than when he last wrote but as Eton has been so unsuccessful felt he could not withdraw. Now Winchester, the winner of both the previous years, has done so he feels less difficulty. Would it not be better to meet in alternate years on each other's ground
