Content description
Clear from his researches that it was the Winchester authorities who discontinued the match at Lord's. Warden of Winchester says it is hardly correct to say that difficulties in re-instating it would originate with Eton. He wished to imply that any change would be by the joint action of the two schools. Would be sorry if Winchester felt it lost caste by playing at Eton. Exchange of hospitality produces a friendly feeling that exists in no other case.
