Painting he has labelled in Eton Portraits as Horace Davis is in fact George Barnard. Thinks that the organ now in Election Hall must be that shown by Pyne in the Queen's Breakfast Room in old Buckingham House, though a similar one appears in the German Chapel at St James's Palace. There are a number of cupboards with similar woodwork designs at Buckingham Palace.
