Provost aware of the collection he is making and of his intention to give them to the school [Macnaghten Library]. In view of the memorial character of the gift, he wishes to have two albums placed close to the books, one containing house photos of Macnaghten's house interleaved with all its achievements, the other photographs and memoirs of four special friends. Feels that the place where this is housed would be a suitable home for commemoration of the three masters killed, and steps should be taken to have etchings of them made for display there. Would like to contribute a substantial sum towards any annexe necessary to house his gift. Encloses memorandum on his collection
