These were discovered in an unmarked box which contained a note dated December 1973 from Patrick Strong, Archivist 1966-1986, stating that they had been left by Provost Elliott and were to be collected by Nicholas Elliott. They appear to date from the Provost's time at Jesus College, Cambridge
