Letter to Charles Saunders, Director of the Great Western Railway, complaining that a boy was allowed to leave Slough when officials must have been aware he was leaving school without permission and had no money to pay his fare. If the College had, as permitted by the Act establishing Slough station, had policement at the station (chosen by them but paid by the Company) this could not have occurred, so it is doubly incumbent on railway servants to prevent abuse of the railroad.
