Letter from Richard Okes (assistant master 1823 - 1850, later Provost of King's College, Cambridge) on the desirability for a new edition of the Greek Testament for the use of the boys. Okes has spoken to Williams, the printer, and they propose to print the text of Bishop Loyd's Oxford edition, with references at the foot. The price in common school binding would be 7/6. For just the Gospels and Acts would be 5/. The whole New Testament would be preferable for the Upper School.
