Letter from Edward Bentham (1707-1776) to the Provost informing him that under the will of Roger Huggett (d.1769) a copy of the Statutes has been lodged in the Bodleian Library together with his observations on them "which are urged with great acrimony". He invites the Provost to provide "an antidote against the malignity of it", which he will place alongside.
