Possibility of Provost writing a defence of Provost Day; asks about the possibility of University College Oxford obtaining a copy of the bust of Shelley of which Eton holds the original. Elliott suggests it has been destroyed because the face is 'so repulsive that it would be intolerable to a fanatical Shelley lover'.
