Encloses article with reference to Eton failing to maintain the grave of a distinguished Head Master (John Newborough). Includes correspondence with the author, Rev. C. Grimes, and the Rev. G. James of Hitcham, and copy of the Parish Magazine for South Tawton, Exbourne and Jascobstowe. Used as rough paper, copy of letter from Elliott to the Hon. Arthur Villiers on the plans of the open air swimming pool, the need to keep loans secret. 'During the discussions we had with those who wish to reserve Eton for the sons of Etonians I constantly felt that enough consideration has not been given to the rescuing of those who are the sons of Harrovians'.
