Item
June 1944
1 item
Letter from Mary Manners, wife of Francis Henry, 4th Baron Manners of Foston. Encloses letter from Lady Lorna Howard about house moves. Feels that if expense is incurred it will be handed on to the parents. 'The S. Coast has been very exciting'. Reply: house moves consequence of Lyttelton and Butterwick's retirements. Come before Governing Body but consideration merely formal. May be vexatious to boys but will not involve parents in expense. 'Your correspondent shows no sign of intelligent understanding of any of the elements of the subject.' Head Master's business
