Complaint about reception and poor guide at Eton. Difficulties of staffing School Office - must not overload them. Birley: we did have two girls there a few years ago who were charming to visitors. Unfortunately they were charming to boys too. Mentions hundreds of tourists and need to look after visitors. Lawrence: if we are to have visitors at all we must do them properly. Platt encloses sample of his 'Photo-Poetics'.
