Closure of Savile Press brought about by deliberate action of 'powers that be' at Oxford to put it in the red. 'It is our view that with the College printing as a basis, any printer should be able to make a go of things at Eton.' Staff were not consulted. Provost: a matter for Alden & Blackwell
