Content description
Mr Wickham is to marry a divorcee and Provost regards this as adultery; thinks he should not receive communion in College Chapel but unwilling as a layman to decide and asks Visitor's advice. Believes that the Provost has complete control of College Chapel but question is a spiritual one. If he comes to Chapel, could not refuse him the sacrament as an evil liver but would explain publicly what he felt the position was.
