Content description
This small series is clearly composed of survivors of a much larger class.
Each week occupies a double page spread, "In merendam" and consumption of bread and beer is on the left, presumably referring to the mid-afternoon "bever" of bread and beer. On the right, daily entries "in prand" and "in can" (i.e. dinner and supper) with the day of the week in Latin and columns for the number of messes. Beside each entry is added men: ter: fer. The meaning of this is not clear.
