Includes report by Edward Cresy to the General Board of Health on a preliminary inquiry into the sewerage, drainage, supply of water and sanitary condition of the town of Eton, 1849 (/1); petitions by the College against the setting up of the Eton Board; draft of memorial by the Board for the extension of the district (/9); brief for Mr. Creasy, representing the College, and supporting papers, including notes on the back of an appeal to the public by the Postmaster General for the installation of letter boxes (/31); Windsor and Eton Express, 8 February 1851 /39); Inspector's report (/40) and draft memorials from the College objecting to it; papers relating to second attempt to extend district including details of costs of lighting and watching College (/67).
