Letters Patent of Henry VI leasing for seven years by the same surety of Henry Fortescu de Falepytte, Co. Devon, gentleman, and Henry Brokke de Wasshbourne, in the same County, gentleman, to John Fortescu, Henry Drewe, John Offord, clerk, and Richard Brounste, clerk, the custody of the Priory of Modbury, which has come into the hands of the Crown by the death of Joan, late Queen of England, for the yearly rent of £23 13s 14d as was paid to the said Queen, and 6s 8d extra.
