Instructions from Robert, Abbot of monastery of St. Peter super Dyvam, diocese of Seez, to William Beuselin, Prior of Montebri, to receive their fellow monk, John Baudri, in his Priory, to remain there as long as it shall please the Abbot. Given at the Monastery.
Seal, pointed oval, 40.mm. orignially about 80.mm. brown wax, pendent on tongue. Only the base surviving. The Abbot with crozier within an arch of masonry, between two shields of arms, paly of six.
