Piddlehinton, Dorset: Counterpart of lease of site of manor

Counterpart of lease by the Provost and College to Charles Audyn, or Dorchester, gentleman, of the site of the manor of Piddlehinton, with all demesne lands pertaining, excepting all timber on the premises, and all ash trees on the westdown with the 'loppes topps and shreddings of the same ashe trees' and the water mills and brooks belonging to the same, and two acres of meadow taken out of one meadow called towne meadow and allotted to the Rector or parson upon the division between him and the tenants, for 21 years from Michaelmas last, for a rent of £4 9s and 3 quarters 3 bushels of wheat and 4 quarters 4 bushels of malt or their money value at the current rate of the Windsor market. The lessee to provide lodging for the lessors or their Officers for 2 days and 3 nights, not more than twice in one year, and to receive all rents of assise, fines, heriots and other profits of the courts of the manors of Piddlehinton and Charlton Parva, and account for the same to the College twice yearly.
