Bond of John Lannynge of Bloxworth, co. Dorset, yeoman, in £6 13s 4d to be paid to the Provost and College of Eton. Whereas the said Lannynge, a customary tenant of the manor of Piddlehinton has obtained leave to sub-let for ten years, the condition of the bond is that, if his executors shall pay the heriot (£3 6s 8d) should he die during that period, and if he shall not receive any undertenant in his tenement who may be chargeable to the parish or permit any such poor person to dwell there, then the bond shall be void. Witnesses: John Fussell, Sichim Devenish, Christopher Kelway. The mark of John Lannynge.
