Counterpart of lease by the Provost and College to Nicholas Kellway, Christopher Kellway and John Kellway, of Fossen, of the site of the manor of Pidlehinton, and a cottage with a garden, orchard and backside now in the tenure of the lessee, excepting all timber on the premises, and all ash trees on the westdown with the 'loppes topps and shreddings of the same ashe trees' and the water mills and brooks belonging to the same, for a rent of £4 9s 10d and 3 quarters 3 bushels, 2 pecks and 1 potle of wheat and 4 quarters, 4 bushels of malt, or their money value at the current rate of the Windsor market. To hold for 21 years from Lady Day last past. The lessee to provide lodging for the lessors or their Officers for 2 days and 3 nights, not more than twice in one year, and to receive all rents of assise, fines, heriots and other profits of the courts of the manors of Piddlehinton and Charlton Parva, and account for the same to the College twice yearly.
