Counterpart of Feoffment for £175, by the Provost and College, of the Revd. William Rush Churchill, of Colliton House, co. Dorset, clerk, of an acre of land in Sturminster Marshall with the three tithe barns thereon (specified in a plan in the margin), for the use of the said Churchill for his life, with remainder to Edward Castleman, of Wimborne Minster, gentleman, the third party to this indenture, with remainder to the heirs of the said Churchill. The Provost and College had received permission from the Tithe Commissioners to sell the premises by certificate of 4 December 1840.
