Draft of petition from Henry Savile, Provost, and the College of Eton, to the Duke of Lenox, Lord Steward of the Household, Sir Thomas Edmonds and Sir Henry Cary, knights, Treasurer and Controller of the same, and to the rest of the officers of his Majesty's Greencloth, that letters may be directed to the Justices of the Peace, co. Dorset, instructing them not to charge the rectory of Sturminster Marshall for composition money, a thing unlawful for them to do by the provisions of an Act of 20 Henry VI of which an extract is enclosed.
