Plea held at Westminster in the presence of William de Bereford and others, Justiciaries of the King, Trinity term in the 11th year of Edward II.
The Abbot of St Victor versus Nicholas de Pykynghull and Roger, his brother, concerning a message and two virgates of land in Hundlavyngton. The jurors say that an ancestor of Roger de Mortuo Mari de Wygemor, time out of mind, had given the manor of Hundlavyngton, of which the premises are parcels, to an abbot of St Victor in perpetuity. A certain abbot Bernard in the time of King Henry had granted the premises, without the consent of the chapter, to Gilbert, son of Thomas le Frensh.
