Indenture of lease for life by Richard Amys, prior of Stokegurcy, to William Colne of Stokegurcy of the tenement in Monketon [Monkton] called Stenynges tenement in the parish of Stokegurcy, and a croft called Vobyescroft lying between the land of the priory called Kytewode and the land of Nicholas Stenyng, and a croft at Tethull [Tethill], and 12 acres at Cleyputtes at Durburgh [Durborough] in the said parish, and a piece of land at Gowlewyll lying between Bolehull on the east and Gowlewyll on the west and the King's way leasing from Stokegurcy towards Bruggewater [Bridgewater] on both sides, and all that meadow of Wykemore in Oxonemede which the said William formerly held of us. Yearly rent 13s 4d. Witnesses: Walter Bluet Baldwin Malet, Knights, Ralph Durburgh John Gyw [John] Verney and many others. Stokegurcy Monday after the Purification [5 Richard II].
