Content description
Bond by John a More and Christopher Asshe, of Stokegurcy, to William Welshawe, of the same, gent., in £100 to be paid at Michaelmas. The condition of the bond is that if the said John and Christopher pay to the said William £4 a year, beginning at Michaelmas during the term of an indenture which the said William has of the grant of the provost and college of Eton, then the bond is to be void.
Two Seals, red wax, round, on tongues, with signatures.
(1) 12 mm, a bird. "Jon more".
(2) 15 mm, W.S. between [shears] and a star. "Christoferum Aysch".
