Content description
Evidences of the right of the Prior of Stokecurcy to a rent of 10s from the lord of Wotton. Reference is made to the grants of William de Faleise, William de Cursy, William de Cursy, his son, Hugh de Nevill, John de Nevill, his son, Robert de London. In 1343 Thomas, the late Prior, forgoing the common seal of the abbey of Lounleye, made a false deed granting the advowson of the church of Wotton to John de Stowford.
