Grant by Alexander Hulmet, of Penne [Penn], husbandman, to Robert Rede, of Dorney, yeoman, of a field called Hulmettesfelde and a grove called Hulmetesgrove and a garden and parcel of meadow adjacent to the field in Penne. The field lies between the land of Nicholas Puttenham on the east, and the land of Thomas Pavyer and the garden on the west, and the King's way leading from the church of Penne to Wycombe [High Wycombe] on the south, and the land of William Jurden on the north. The grove lies between the land of Nicholas Puttenham on the east, and Hulmettesfelde on the west, and the said King's way on the south, and the land of the said Puttenham and of the said Robert Rede on the north. The garden lies between the land of Thomas Pavyer on the north, and the house of William Heron called le Nelelynghowse on the south, and the said field on the east, and the common called Tylersendegrene on the west. The parcel of meadow lies between the said field on the north, and the said King's way on the south, and the said grove on the east, and the land of William Heron on the west. And grant of 2s rent from a tenement within garden of Agnes Sexten; and 20d rent from a tenement in the said field of William Heron. The grantor had the premises of the gift of Reginald Bray, knight, now deceased, John Walleston, esquire, Richard Culverhowse alias Potter, Richard Sexten, Roger Playtour, Richard Playtour, William Sawnder, William Bernard, William Grove, William Heron, Thomas Donyndon, John Rydyng and Thomas Sexten.
