Will of Matilda Wikes of Henton in the parish of Chynnour [Chinnor], co. Oxon, widow. William Besiles, William Kene, John Prentoft, clerk, and John Saunders, of Faryngdon [Faringdon], named trustees, who are to make a "state taille" of all lands she held in fee (as appears in the deed dated Henton Friday after the Epiphany last past) to her daughters Rose, Elizabeth and Isabell, and the heirs of their bodies, and in default of such heirs the same to be sold and the money distributed in charitable works.
Witnesses: Sir Thomas Rede, parson of Chynnour, Sir John Edward, "parische preste my curet and goostly fadur", and Sir Steven Senyour, parson of Amyngton [Emington], also Henry Kyng and others.
