Grant for 25s, by William son of Jordan de Hoctun to the prior and canons of St Barbara of all his right in the service and customs which Yvo de Hoctun and his antecedents did for him and his antecedents, to wit 22 days in autumn in custom, and four hens and one cock and gersuma and heriot.
Seal, pointed oval heart shaped, 35mm originally about 50mm, natural colour wax, on doubled tag. The upper portion broken away, and very little of the impression remaining. A legend.
