At the court of William Westbury and the College of Eton held the Monday after the Feast of Relics, 29 Henry VI, Johanna widow of John Cotes of Stoke Poges failed to answer the summons for a toft of land in Eton between the tenement of William Spraket to the north and of John Trevilian to the south. It is therefore taken into the lord's hand and William Bemund is admitted to the said toft, paying 16d yearly in tow equal installments and all services and agreeing to build a house on it within one year, paying the lord 3s 4d
