Feoffment by John Clere to John Maire, late of Eton co. Bucks, now dwelling in the city of London, of a cottage and garden in Eton between a tenement of Nicholas Halle on the north and a tenement of John Sprakat senior on the south, extending from the King's way leading through the middle of Eton on the west to a ditch of Nicholas Whadden on the east, late enfeoffed to him jointly with Robert Babthorp, miles, now deceased, by John Horne senior, late of New Windsor, taillour. Witnesses: John Dyer junior, Hugo Dyer, Henry Roulee. Given at Eton, 5 July, 17 Henry VI.
