Grant by Margareta Water, late wife of John Water, in her free widowhood, to Richard Proufet of a messuage in Eton, co. Bucks, between a messuage late of Alanus Jordelay [Jourdelay], now of William Heyward, on the south and a messuage formerly of Henry Jordelay, late of Amery Stokes and now of grantor on the north, extending from a ditch called Casteldiche on the west to the King's way leading through the middle of Eton on the east. Witnesses: Thomas Jordelay, Hugo Aylewyn, Thomas Pete, Thomas Hynderlyng, William Heyward. Given at Eton, 16 February, 24 Henry VI.
