Grant by Margareta Water, late wife of John Water, armiger, in her free widowhood, to Thomas Jourdeley [Jourdelay] of Eton near Windsor and John Jourdeley, his son, of 1½ acres of arable in Lynkcroft in a field of Eton called Southfeld, between land of the royal college of St Mary of Eton on the south and land late of Nicholas Waddon, now of said Thomas Jourdeley on the north, extending to land of the King on the west and a close called le Bardneys on the east of a rent of 1d. Witnesses: John Bernard, John Fremley, Thomas Pete, Thomas Dyer, Thomas Champeney. Given at Eton, 4 February, 34 Henry VI.
