Quitclaim by William Mayre, 'ciues et Talghchaunderlere' of London to mag. William Westbury, provost, and the royal college of St Mary of Eton near Windsor, co. Bucks, of a garden in Eton between a messuage of Richard Grove, now in tenure of Thomas Cook, on the south and a tenement of the same Richard now in tenure of Thomas Hynderlyng, tinctor on the north, and the King's way leading (from) le Slowe [Slough] to New Windsor on the west. Witnesses: David Brekenok, Nicholas Clopton, Thomas Jourdelay, Thomas Peet, Richard Profyt, David Whytchurche. Given at Eton, 26 November, 37 Henry VI.
