Eton, Buckinghamshire: Lease of tenement

Lease by Henry Bost, provost, and the royal college of St Mary of Eton to Alex. Burdon and Constancia his wife of a tenement in Eton wherein said Alexander now dwells, between a hospice [hospicium] of the said college wherein Thomas Assheby now dwells on the south and a tenement of Abbess and convent of Burnham, lately leased to John Grene on the north, abutting on the King's way leading to New Windsor on the east, together with houses and a garden pertaining thereto, the garden lying on the west side of the tenement from Lady day next for 21 years, at a rent of 13s 4d, but the first two years rent to be remitted in consideration of repairs to be done. Given at Eton, 14 April, 21 Edward IV.
