Grant by Hugo David to Theobaldus Burnel, for his homage and service, of a messuage in the town of Wyndeshor (Windsor) between the house of Jack la Granter on the lower side and grantor’s house, being th house which grantor’s step-mother held for life in free-bench, in Morstret, 20ft in front and 14ft at the back, extending from the King’s great street (a magna strata regali) to the wall of the King’s garden, at a rent of 2s saving the King’s service.
