Windsor, Berkshire: Indenture of feoffment

Indenture between Nicholas de Monele and Thomas Wilcok de Shawe, whereby the said Nicholas, in consideration of the fact that the said Thomas has enfeoffed his with 2 acres of land in Openor in Odycroft between land of John Horesulle and the land of Thomas Holebode, grants that if Thomas and his heirs and assigns pay him (the said Nicholas) or his attorney, having one part of this indenture with him, in the parish church of New Windsor at next Michaelmas 10s silver and at subsequent Michaelmases until £4 10s has been paid, the charter of the aforesaid enfeoffment shall be restored to the said Thomas who omay then re-enter the premises.
