To all etc, Thomas Harpcote, of Windsor, and Isabel, his wife, sister of the late Nicholas Hertele, citizen and grocer of London, greeting. Since John Sudbury, Geoffrey Cremelford, Robert fitz Robert, Robert Lyghe, William Pycard, citizens of London, and John Anne, chaplain, leased for life to the said Thomas a shop in the town of New Windsor situated opposite the gate of the castle and a messuage with a curtilage adjacent in the street called Pesecodstret, and leased for life to the said Isabel the tenement called Bungeys situated in the high street and a piece of meadow called Roveneye lying in the fee of the abbot of Redyng, and afterwards granted the reversion of the premises to William Warbulton, esquire, John Chaumberleyn, chaplain, and RObert Chichele, citizen and grocer of London; surrender by the said Thomas and Isabel to the said William, John and Robert of all their right in the premises, and grant to the said William, John and Robert of all lands, tenements etc. which the said Isabel inherited after the death of Nicholas Hertele, her brother, in the parishes of New Windsor, Old Windsor and Clewere, co. Berks.
Witnesses: John Cifrewas, Thomas Sy, esquires, Robert Wythele, John Page, John Burgeys and others. Given at New Windsor 15 October 7 Henry IV.
Two seals.
Endorsed: Irrotulat in Banco Rotulo primo de cartis et Proteccionibus de termino Sancti Michaelis 7 Henry IV.
