Edward Palmer, Coleshill, to Rev. Dr Roberts. "I am sorry the College has so much trouble with Mr Davis. He is a plausible writer, but produces no facts in support of his complaint". The writer justifies the valuation of Bloxham he had made for the College. "I see no reason for an abatement of the estimate...but if the College be inclined to abate as a matter of favour to a clergyman having a large family, I would beg leave to offer my best wishes for promoting so benevolent an act".
