John Davis, Bloxham, to Rev. William Roberts concerning payment of fine, etc. "I was sorry it escaped me to put a few of my choice acorns into your chaise when you left Bloxham but I will yet continue to drop you a gallon at Slough in time for the planting of them, which I understand must not be till the spring is a little advanced for fear of mice which are said to be excessively eager after them in winter."
