Long Compton, Warwickshire: Tripartite indenture of assignment of lease of rectory

Tripartite indenture between Anthony Jenkins, of Langley Burrell, co. Wilts, gent, on the first part, Henry Killigrew, doctor in divinity and prebendary of the collegiate church of St Peter's Westminster, Walter Jones, doctor in divinity and prebendary of the same, and Richard Perrincheife, doctor in divinity and prebendary of the same, on the second part, and John Doughty, doctor in divinity and prebendary of the same and Katherine, his wife, of the third part, by which in pursuance of a decree made in the Court of Chancery 25 January 1669 in a suit between the said John Doughty and Katherine, his wife, plaintiffs, and the said Anthony Jenkins and Richard Davis, Richard Heyden, William Butler and others, defendants, and for 5s paid to the said Jenkins by the said Killigrew, John and Perrincheife, the said Jenkins has assigned to the said Killigrew, Jones and Perrincheife the remainder of his 21 year lease of the rectory of Compton, dated 22 April 1667. Witnesses: W. Gregory, Ann Bush, Henry Price, Thomazin Bromfeild, Sarah Bacon.
