Long Compton, Warwickshire: Indenture of lease of rectory

Indenture of lease, upon surrender of the foregoing, and for £1016, by the Provost and College to Jacob Whitbread, of Lowdham Park, co. Suffolk, esquire, of the rectory of Compton, together with all allotments awarded to the lessors by the recent Inclosure award, which are set out in a schedule. From old Lady day for 10 years.
Rent 864 gallons of wheat and 405 gallons of malt and £10 16s and one boar to be delivered a fortnight before Christmas or 26s 8d for the same, with an additional £31 10s in consideration of the redemption of land tax.
Witnesses: William Turner, farmer, Petistree, James Cracknell, butler to Mr Whitbread, Loudham.
